Summary of Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Web Application Developer with solid experience in Java, JavaScript, CSS, and Web 2.0 technologies. This position would participate in the design, enhancement, and coding of large-scale web applications. The qualified candidate has a proven ability to learn and apply new technologies in a range of technical areas and desires to grow with our organization. Given our substantial growth, this position provides immense flexibility for shaping and growing your career. This professional-track position reports to the CTO.

Technology Stack
We are continuously expanding our tech stack to use the best of breed tools.  Some of the tools, technologies/frameworks in our current toolset consists of JPA, Spring, Struts2, Jersey, Angularjs, NodeJS, Riak, Redis, RabbitMQ.   Maven, Grunt, Jenkins, Git, Docker for build/release/deployment processes.  ELK for log management.  We expect candidates to not only learn existing tool sets but also help in picking the next best set of tools/frameworks/approaches that enhances the product or eases development / deployment processes. 

Required Experience (for already graduated applicants)

  • Strong Java (4+ years) with a required minimum of 2 years real world experience.
  • Strong JavaScript (2+ years)
  • Experience with robust client-side libraries like jQuery, AngularJS
  • Strong HTML and CSS
  • SQL (2+ years) using any RDBMS (e.g. MySQL/Postgres/MSSQL/etc.)      

Preferred Experience

  • MySQL
  • Unix familiarity - Systems Administration is a plus
  • Hibernate/JPA/Spring
  • AngularJS (or another Javascript framework)
  • AWS
  • Any of the tools/frameworks mentioned in the tech stack

B.S. (or above) degree in Computer Science or related field of study.  Graduating students are encouraged to apply.
